Floating Landscapes 2007

In landscapes, I captured the streetlights which were just switched on when the daylight still remained. That time is so to speak the light's breath and the landscape begins to be seen as floating in the water. Urban objects are removed their belonging and take on a new aspect in a moment. This project shows the several aspects of the urban lights using by DVD slideshow, with a sampling sound piece " Aomori Water" by Phill Niblock. The projection also makes several reflections by the mirrors set in front of the projector, then, the floating fragments are diffused in the darkness of the world.
