For the project, I planed using fax machines. From some of my acquaintances who live in all over the world, I
asked to send faxes about the pictures, drawings, frottage of “fences” to the exhibit spaces. Then, the reached
images on the fax rolls were installed, standing like real fences. I used the fence as the metaphor for between
images and real things. Information through the telegraph like a fax has a remarkable character which transform
between visible things and invisible things. Also, I think “image” has the same functions. The project has been
taking place as "bridges" instead "fences". |
